EnWelcome to EnDroit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer", "Creator") and EnDroit ("we", "us", "EnDroit"), operated by Gillian Masse, headquartered in France. By creating an account, accessing the website at en-droit.app, or using any feature of our platform, you accept these Terms in full.
1. The service
EnDroit is a content management platform for legal education creators that helps them write, render and publish short-form vertical videos to social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The platform is delivered as a software-as-a-service via our website and provides multiple plans, including a free tier and paid subscriptions.
2. Eligibility and account registration
To use EnDroit, you must be at least 16 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We may decline, suspend or terminate accounts at our reasonable discretion, in particular where we suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms.
3. Subscriptions, billing and refunds
EnDroit offers monthly and annual subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled by you before the next billing date. We bill in EUR via Stripe, our payment processor. All prices include applicable VAT for European Union customers.
You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until that date. We provide pro-rated refunds only where required by applicable consumer law (notably, the EU 14-day withdrawal right for the initial subscription).
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes never apply retroactively to a billing period you have already paid for.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use EnDroit to:
- Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent or that violates the rights of any third party;
- Misrepresent legal information in a way that could foreseeably harm a viewer (e.g. by presenting personal advice as a general statement of the law without disclaimers);
- Reverse-engineer the platform, attempt to access other users' accounts, or interfere with normal operation;
- Submit content you do not have the right to publish, including copyrighted footage, music or scripts;
- Use the platform for spam, automated mass posting, or any activity that violates the terms of the connected social-media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
5. Content ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload, write, generate or publish through EnDroit ("Your Content"). By using the platform, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, render and transmit Your Content for the sole purpose of providing you the service. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account.
We do not claim any ownership over the videos you publish. You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content complies with applicable law and with the terms of the social-media platforms you publish to.
6. Connected accounts and third-party platforms
EnDroit enables you to connect external accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) so that we can publish content to them on your behalf, with your explicit consent. Each of these platforms has its own terms of service that you remain bound by. We are not responsible for changes to those terms, the availability of their APIs, or any decision they make regarding the content you publish through us.
7. Third-party services
The platform integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:
- TikTok Content Posting API — for publication to TikTok
- Meta Graph API — for publication to Instagram Reels
- YouTube Data API v3 — for publication to YouTube Shorts
- ElevenLabs — for optional voice synthesis
- Pexels — for royalty-free background footage
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Anthropic — for AI-assisted script suggestions
8. Availability and changes to the service
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may deploy updates, maintenance and feature changes at any time. Material changes that remove or reduce a feature will be announced with reasonable advance notice.
9. Intellectual property
EnDroit, including its name, logo, source code, interface, documentation and rendering engine, is the exclusive intellectual property of Gillian Masse and is protected by international copyright, trademark and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use these assets beyond your normal use of the service.
10. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Information generated or rendered by the service, including AI-assisted script suggestions, is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, special, consequential or incidental damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including in particular liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or for personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your settings. We may terminate your access for material breach of these Terms with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breach (fraud, illegal activity, security threat). Upon termination, your access ends, your data is retained for 30 days during which you may export it, and is then permanently deleted.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For disputes with consumers, the consumer-protection rules of your country of residence apply where they grant you stronger protection. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Toulon, France, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
